KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE AND GLOBAL COMMITTEE

Terms of Reference

1. POWERS AND DUTIES
   1. To be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of those aspects of the Strategic Plan which relate to the University's knowledge exchange related activities for the School;
   2. To be responsible for School policy and planning issues relating to knowledge exchange and public engagement with research;
   3. To keep under review the external influences on the development of knowledge exchange and public engagement with research;
   4. To facilitate School knowledge exchange activities including but not limited to newspaper column, educational events and related publications;
   5. To promote and to facilitate interdepartmental / interdisciplinary knowledge exchange related activities;
   6. To be responsible for the development of the School's strategies on knowledge exchange and public engagement with research and the evaluation of the School progress against those University / Faculty's core strategies and plans.
       
2. MEMBERSHIP
   1. Appointments to the Committee shall be for a period of two years, renewable at the discretion of the School Director.
   2. Membership as of February 1, 2025:
   • Professor Ralf Jauch, Professor, Associate Director (Knowledge Exchange and Global), (Chair)
   • Professor Joshua Ho, Associate Professor
   • Professor Heidi Ling, Assistant Professor
   • Professor Alan Wong, Associate Professor
   • Dr Masayo Kotaka, Principal Lecturer
